IWHR’s integrated intelligent water-fertilizer controlling system draws attention at China-Arab States Expo 2017

IWHR’s Department of Irrigation and Drainage unveiled the independently-developed “Integrated Intelligent Water-Fertilizer Controlling System” at the China-Arab States Expo 2017 in Yinchuan, northwest China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and had drawn great attentions.

The system consists of three parts: agricultural information collection, field-level irrigation controller, and water-fertilizer management cloud platform. Based on the agricultural information and expert model, the water-fertilizer management cloud platform can automatically conduct irrigation forecasting, pest and disease warning, as well as irrigation and fertilization decision making. At the same time, through the use of modern IoT technology and field-level irrigation controller, the cloud platform can realize real-time communication and thus can control the whole process of irrigation and fertilization. The irrigation system administrator can track the operation of irrigation systems through PC, mobile phone, iPad and other mobile devices. At present, the system has been applied in Xinjiang, Guangxi, Shandong, Shaanxi and other regions.
