Bituminous concrete-faced anti-seepage technology for pumped-storage power plant and its application in Baoquan project has won the second prize of 2015 Henan Provincial Award for Science and Technology Progress.

It is developed by IWHR based on advanced German technology, and has been customized and improved for the past two decades and successfully applied in other pumped-storage power plants such as Tianhuangping and Hohhot.
