HLJF0904-LJ-266 Type Francis turbine, developed by Beijing IWHR Technology Co. Ltd. (BITC), was applied to the recently-commissioned Qireha Tal Hydropower Station on Tashkurgan River in northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

The turbine is developed using BITC's hydraulic optimization design system for Francis turbine and is streamlined to fit into high-altitude and high-waterhead hydropower station that could be up to 500 m.
