IWHR to build a turnkey hydropower project in Pakistan

Beijing IWHR Technology Co., Ltd. (BITC) led a consortium to sign an EPC contract with Azad Jammu & Kashmir Power Development Organization in Islamabad, Pakistan for the Jaggran-II Hydropower Station (4 x 12MW Pelton turbines) that is planned to be commissioned by the end of 2019.

This is BITC’s first EPC project in Pakistan, and its first ever turnkey contrast with electro-mechanical equipment and civil engineering. BITC will be responsible for the overall design, electro-mechanical equipment supply and installation, while Beijing IWHR Corporation, another enterprise affiliated to IWHR, for the design of civil engineering.
