Time: 2014-11-06 | Hits:

Initiated in 2009, the state-sponsored research for restoring the hydrological characteristics of historical and typical droughts was, after 5 years, concluded by IWHR’s Department of Water Resources History. The research achievements include a book (Drought Archives and Historical Data of Qing Dynasty, see the image below), a 5-century chronological table of droughts in China, 2 research reports and 8 academic papers. This research integrates modern sciences and technologies into the research of historical files and fills the blank in drought research of China and the world.
