Objective: This MOU is intended to summarize the current business understanding of the Parties for the purposes that jointly conduct research on smart water management and intelligent water network (hereafter referred as "SWM/IWN") to define specific scope and clarified objectives, identify areas of shared interest, and confirm the output and implementation process of cooperation.

Scope of cooperation:
    - Planning water resources system combining with big data, information and communication technology, remote sensing and multi-scale forecasting technology
    - Enhancing the efficiency and benefit of water resources adopting engineering and/or non-engineering method of water grid system
    - Design and construction technique for physical and intelligent water networks
    - Modernization and informatization in water resources management
    - Advanced decision support system
    - Nature-society dualistic water cycle regulation model
    - Standardization
