Mr. Katsuyuki Yanai（柳克內行）, chairman of Japan Conservation Engineers & Co., Ltd (JCE)， and Mr. Hiroshi Tuji（辻裕）, president of JCE subsidiary, visited IWHR on May 10, 2018 on future cooperation plans. IWHR President, Dr. Kuang Shangfu, received the delegation.
In his remarks, Dr. Kuang congratulated on cooperation results between IWHR and JCE in the past year in such fields as erosion control and water disaster mitigation, and suggested stronger collaboration in R&D of conventional and unconventional technologies。
The JCE delegation made briefings on latest technological progress made by JCE in fields like deep-seated landslide detection and forecast, inspection by unmanned vehicle, difference method and particle method. JCE, celebrating its 52nd birthday in 2018, aspired for sustained development in the future and lasting cooperation with IWHR.
The two sides exchanged views on details of future cooperation.
