Mr. Richard Taylor, CEO of IHA, paid a visit to IWHR on February 23, 2017. Dr. Kuang Shangfu, President of IWHR, received the IHA delegation and the two sides discussed on the pending 2017 IHA World Hydropower Congress.

IHA briefed to Dr. Kuang on the progress of Congress preparation, and invited greater presence of IWHR in the event, particularly in areas such as reservoir sediment management, dam safety and smart equipment.

Dr. Kuang expressed confidence in and best wishes for the success of the Congress.

The two sides decided upon various details of IWHR's involvement in the coming hydropower event, including sending a bigger professional team to participate in the Congress, and providing language and logistic support on site.
