《国际水土保持研究（英文）》（International Soil and Water Conservation Research，简称ISWCR）是由水利部主管，国际泥沙研究培训中心、中国水利水电出版社和中国水利水电科学研究院联合主办，国内外公开出版发行的英文学术性季刊，于2013年6月正式创刊，国内统一出版刊号CN: 10-1107/P， 国际标准期刊编号ISSN: 2095-6339。

《国际水土保持研究》与国际知名出版集团Elsevier合作，通过Elsevier 全文数据库ScienceDirect提供全球化开放获取（Open Access）的发行模式。2015年4月《国际水土保持研究（英文）》被中国科学引文数据库（Chinese Science Citation Database，简称CSCD）核心库收录；2016年12月被摘要和引文数据库SCOPUS收录；2017年10月被科睿唯安（原汤森路透集团）的ESCI数据库（Emerging Sources Citation Index）正式收录.

作为世界水土保持学会（World Association of Soil and Water Conservation，简写为WASWAC）的会刊，《国际水土保持研究》是涉及水土保持研究、实践、政策和观点的综合性学术期刊。办刊宗旨为：报道水土保持科学发展、促进水土保持实践事业。主要刊登水土流失、水土保持、水土资源管理、生态环境及其相关领域的研究成果、动态监测、效果评价、政府决策，以及相关热点、难点问题的研究与讨论。

The International Soil and Water Conservation Research (ISWCR) is an international academic Journal that globally publishes in English quarterly with CN: 10-1107/P and ISSN: 2095-6339. The Journal is initiated in June 2013 under the administration of the Ministry of Water Resources and is co-owned and sponsored by International Research and Training Center on Erosion and Sedimentation, China Water & Power Press, and the Institute of Water Resources and Hydro-power Research.

The online publishing and production of the Journal is hosted and supported by Elsevier. All papers published is online available in ScienceDirect with open access globally. In 2015, ISWCR had been indexed by Chinese Science and Citation Database (CSCD) in core collection. In 2016, the SCOPUS had ISWCR indexed and the coverage was tracked back to the first issue in 2013. In 2017, the Journal is index by Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) with coverage since 2015.

As the official journal of World Association of Soil and Water Conservation (WASWAC), ISWCR is a multidisciplinary journal of soil and water conservation research, practice, policy, and perspectives. It aims to disseminate new knowledge and promote the practice of soil and water conservation. Examples of appropriate topical areas include, soil erosion and its control, watershed management, water resources assessment and management, nonpoint-source pollution, conservation models, tools, and technologies, conservation agricultural, soil health resources, indicators, assessment, and management, Land degradation, sedimentation, sustainable development and literature review on topics related soil and water conservation research.
