Beijing IWHR KHL Co, Ltd. has been undertaking the aqueduct reinforcement and rehabilitation project of Yumenkou Irrigation Area in North China's Shanxi Province from 2014, working on the overhaul and reinforcement of three aqueducts, including the No.11, No.13 and Changhao Aqueduct. By now, the project of Changhao Aqueduct has been completed, while 75% of the No.11 Aqueduct and 70% of the No.13 Aqueduct have also been finished. The rest of the projects are planned to be accomplished by the end of 2015.

The Yumenkou Water Elevation project in Shanxi province is a comprehensive irrigation project. The secondary main aqueduct was built in 1990s, which has been operating for about 20 years. Currently, the structure is suffering from serious aging hazard which directly jeopardizes the safe operation of the project.
