It is an inevitable trend to develop compressed and dispersed type of anchorage cable and it is necessary to introduce advanced production technologies of pre-stress anchorage cable from abroad and develop new type of anchorage cable geared to China抯 engineering characteristics.

Major research contents of this project include:

(1) Research and development of anchorage cable testing table, including
anti-stress shelf and anchorage cable measuring equipment

(2) Research and development of new combination type of compression and friction pre-stress anchorage cable system without bond

(3) Conducting various indoor and on-site testing and numerical simulation analysis, and research on and verification of the mechanism of new type of anchorage cable and its feasibility and reliability

(4) Research and development of monitoring system of anchorage fixed stress, achieving the whole process monitoring of the conditions of single steel twisted line and the whole anchorage cable system

(5) Research and release of the standards for manufacturers, achieving the standardized production of the products

(6) Research on production of major spare parts and materials in China

The new type of inset combination type of inner anchorage head, anchorage fixed stress whole process monitoring and outer anchorage water-proof system innovated and developed by China is the first of this type up to the international leading level. This anchorage cable system boasts the merits of compacted structure, even press of inner anchorage head and sound rationality of the anchorage system. It plays an important role in advancing pre-stress anchorage fixed technologies in geotechnical areas in China and will bring about enormous ecological, environmental, social and economic benefits.
