Dam-site monitoring and vibration laboratory

The dam-site monitoring and vibration laboratory is equipped with the complete sets of domestic and foreign equipment for on-site vibration testing and strong earthquake monitoring, and the hydraulic structure strong earthquake acceleration database system is developed. It is primarily engaged in the regional tectonic stability evaluation; the analysis of seismic microzonation and seismic hazards; the risk research of reservoir induced earthquake; the exploration and design of telemetered seismic network, the development, design and implementation of reservoir earthquake monitoring, forecasting, warning and decision support systems; the major hydropower project earthquake monitoring, on-site vibration measurement and anti-earthquake information management research; and the health and dynamical diagnosis for concrete dam;
 
 

Practically measure on site the vibration of the hydroelectric generating sets and plant at different water levels, and carry out the large-scale finite element calculation and analysis through simulating complicated load conditions, then compare it with the practically measured results, so as to provide technical support to effectively control the plant vibration.
 

The main purpose of Dongjiang arch dam site dynamic test is to study the uneven input mechanism of the dam earthquake load, the interaction of the dam and dynamic water in reservoir, the dynamic characteristics of the dam and the effectiveness for the dynamic analysis procedures of the dam.
 
 

The main purpose of the on-site dynamic test at Fuziling multi-arch dam is to study the dynamic characteristics of the dam and the damage conditions by means of dynamic test, and the dynamic test results provide technical support for the reinforcement design of Fuziling multi-arch dam.
