Analysis on the leakage and defect treatment for the lower reservoir of Xilongchi Pumped Storage Power Station in Shanxi Province

Abstract: There exists leakage problem in the concrete of Xilongchi Pumped Storage Power Station in Shanxi Province after long-term operation, which is the main potential safety hazard in the project. In this paper, the reason for the leakage and the influence of leakage on operation is analyzed and the defect treatment scheme and construction technology for the panels with the water level above 810 m are proposed. The centralized treatments on the main leakage part of the panel are carried out. After the water storage test, the leakage amount after the treatment decreases significantly with the obvious effect. The processing technology has good significance for the similar projects reference.
