Abstract: Based on the summary of some successful methods to improve the test accuracy of model turbine at the hydraulic machinery test station of China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, some useful methods are put forward to improve the test precision according to the analysis of the sources of measurement error. These methods include three aspects to perfect: the calibration systems of test equipments, reduce the calibration error and decrease the random error.
