Abstract: For the water diversion shield tunnels with double lining building in cities, with the low bearing capacity of tunnel surrounding rocks and the possible initial gaps between double lining, the secondary lining bears too much stress which easily causes cracking and leakage under high internal water pressure. The simulation and calculation of water diversion shield tunnel with double lining is performed using the finite element method in this paper. Result shows that if there is no gap between the duct piece and secondary lining, the tensile stress of secondary lining and the compressive stress of duct piece will be greatly reduced, then the stress field of them will be more uniform, and the combined action of the double lining structure will be ensured, which provides basis for the further optimization of the double composite lining structure.
