IWHR, Chinese National Committee on Large Dams (CHINCOLD) and the National Performance of Dams Program (NPDP) at Stanford University share a mutual interest in dam engineering and dam safety. In the spirit of technical cooperation and a joint interest in working together on topics of mutual interest, IWHR, CHINCOLD and the NPDP sign this agreement in the spirit of technical cooperation in the future.

Cooperation will be conducted in the areas of technical study and research, technical training and exchange, technical visits, and visiting scholars.
