1. Introduction
The first water supply facility in Korea began with the water distribution reservoir at Daechung-dong, Busan in the year of 1894. The amount of water supply in the center has increased ever since and it becomes nowadays 15,670,000 ton/d, making 359 liters of average per capita daily supply.
