Laboratory of Computer-aided Control System Development for Hydropower Station

The laboratory, covering an area of 240m², is mainly devoted to developing and application of microcomputer and minicomputer.

Microcomputer development includes the development of in-plant automatic control system and out-plant automation system.The laboratory is provided with developing and regulating equipments, such as INTEL 286/310, INTEL 86/310, INTEL 86/360 microcomputer system, SMC-600 programmable controller, microcomputer development system and logic analyser etc.

The application development of minicomputer is set up for widening the application of Chinese-made minicomputers HN-3000 series, which are manufactured with production line equipment imported from France. Now it is being developed as the computer control system for the Shitang no-attendent hydropower station in China, and computer control system for Ankang, Shiqian Hydropower Station etc. The minicomputer is stable in features and reliable in quality. Its hardware and software are suitable for industrial control.
