Laboratory of Rock Mechanics

The Rock Mechanics Laboratory has a floor area of 490m² and is equipped with the following main equipments: an automatic closed-hydraulic servo controlled rock testing machine, a medium-sized rock shearing device, two compression machines with the maximum pressure of 30 t respectively, a 200 point round instrumentation, a digital inclinometer and devices for geomechanics modelling tests?The mechanical properties of various kinds of rocks can be estimated and the in situ measurements and monitoring for rock engineering and the gemechanics modelling tests can be carried out.
