Laboratory of Photoelestic
The photoelastic laboratory covering an area of 300m2, is mainly devoted to the following aspects, namely photoelastic stress analysis of hydraulic structures, holography. speckle, morie and fracture mechanics, etc.
 
Principal equipments available in the laboratory are PA-X6027 polariscope, 031B model reflective polariscope, FQG-200 holo-polariscope, PORLBK-2 model polarimicroscope, W2 model laser speckle camera and IBM-PC/XT micro computer, and other devices for data acquisition and processing.
