The laboratory comprises a floor area of 200m2. Its main equipment is P.E-3260
MPS-32 bit parallel processing super minicomputer system with 2MB internal
storage and 600MB external memory, imported from the P.E company, U.S.A
It is used to emulate the operation of hydraulic turbine conducting closed-loop
dynamic experiments together with a physical governor. The research activities
are mainly stressed on appraisal test and dynamic tests for hydraulic governor
as studies on new type governors.
An engineer is carrying out emulation experiment.
