Urban water museum design based on perception of pan-museum: Dujiangyan museum designing as example

Abstract: The museum is an important carrier that shows urban quality and culture. Urban spirit has greatly enhanced the city's cultural taste and conception. As a manifestation of the urban spirit, the museum is continuing to foster urban culture, carrying forward the spirit of the city. With more and more prominent water issues, water becomes a major bottleneck to restrict the urban development. With the emergence of the water museum worldwide, it plays an important role in water education, relationship between water and urban development, and urban quality improvement. This article discusses the dilemmas facing urban water museum and proposes pan-museum design concept. Meanwhile, researchers discuss the relationship between urban water museum and urban development by designing Dujiangyan museum.
